In short
The Accademia di Belle Arti di Frosinone, founded in 1973, is a state academy of fine arts in the historic centre of Frosinone, with two seats: the former provincial hygiene laboratory building and Palazzo Pietro Tiravanti, opened in 2015. Besides painting, sculpture, decoration, printmaking, scenography and audiovisual courses, it runs a fashion design course created in 2001, which the academy describes as the first experimental state course of its kind in Italy. The three-year and two-year fashion programme combines design, tailoring workshops, textile culture, costume for the stage and fashion photography.
