In short
The Accademia di Como Aldo Galli is an academy of fine arts recognised by the Italian ministry of universities, part of the IED network since 2010, at via Petrarca 9 in Como. It began as a school of restoration and still runs a five-year course qualifying conservator-restorers, with paths in stone materials and in painted wood and textile supports, with students working on listed heritage sites. It also offers three-year courses in fashion and textile design, design and visual arts, and masters including one in textiles.
