Accademia Italiana, a school of fashion, design and photography whose main seat is in Florence, opened its Rome campus in July 2023 in the former railway customs house at Via dello Scalo San Lorenzo 10, a 1925 building by the architect Angiolo Mazzoni del Grande. The campus offers about 2,000 square metres of classrooms and laboratories, with a fabric store and a materials library. The Rome page lists three-year courses in fashion design, interior and product design, jewellery design, photography and communication design, as well as a foundation year.
