The Accademia Orafa Italiana is a goldsmithing school in Catania (via Umberto 300) that trains goldsmiths, jewellers, gemmologists and CAD-CAM designers in a workshop equipped with manual and technological tools. Its courses include a two-year course in jewellery design, goldsmithing techniques and CAD-CAM, a one-year course in goldsmithing techniques open without a secondary-school diploma, a master in advanced high-jewellery techniques, wax modelling and gemmology courses. The school also runs a service centre for 3D projects and high-resolution prototypes.
