In short
The Academy of Fine Arts Munich teaches jewellery and objects in the class Schmuck und Gerät within its Fine Arts (Diplom) programme. The academy has 22 study workshops open to all students, including a jewellery and object workshop where pieces are made from metal alloys and other materials, as well as workshops for ceramics, sculptural glass, glass painting and mosaic, textiles, metal and wood. In the workshops students try out traditional and craft techniques alongside newer processes, with basic craft skills taught where needed.
