In short
The Faculty of Applied Sciences of Altınbaş University, a foundation university in Istanbul established in 2008, houses a Department of Jewellery and Jewellery Design with a four-year bachelor's programme and a master's programme. Students train for work as designers in jewellery firms and workshops and take part, with the university's support, in the IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show. The department states that it was accredited by the German agency ACQUIN in 2023. The faculty also runs a Gastronomy and Culinary Arts programme.
