In short
The Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), part of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and active since 1952, trains fashion professionals in management, branding and design at Mauritskade 11 in Amsterdam. Its bachelor's programme in Fashion & Textile Technologies, taught in Dutch and English, has three majors; in Fashion & Design students learn to turn concepts into fashion products and collections, with design, construction, materials, digital and craft techniques, pattern making, draping, collection building, visualisation and fashion theory. The institute states that it is the largest fashion institute in the Netherlands and the only one covering the whole fashion chain.
