In short
The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts 'Prof. Asen Diamandiev' in Plovdiv began in 1964 as a branch of the Bulgarian State Conservatory and later added fine arts specialities to music, folklore and choreography. Its Department of Design, created in 2020, includes a bachelor's in Clothing Design, with courses in garment design, garment construction and modelling and textile decoration, and a master's in Fashion Design whose graduates receive the qualification of fashion designer. The fine arts faculty also teaches painting, sculpture, scenography and photography.
