The Applied Technology College of Soochow University is an undergraduate independent college run by Soochow University, located in Zhouzhuang, Kunshan, in the Suzhou area of Jiangsu Province; it was founded in November 1997 and became an independent undergraduate college in 2005. Its Zhouzhuang School of Culture and Tourism has a clothing department and offers garment design and engineering and clothing and costume design. With the Jiangsu Qipao Association it runs a Jiangsu Qipao College devoted to the craft, culture and design of the Suzhou-style qipao.
