In short

The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts (The Bray) was founded in 1951 in Helena, Montana, by the brickmaker and arts patron Archie Bray, on the site of the former Western Clay Manufacturing Company. The 26-acre brickyard campus has a resident artist studio facility, the Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement, galleries and a ceramic retail and manufacturing business. Besides its residency programme, it offers adult continuing education classes, youth programmes, professional development for educators, an education assistantship and an artist lecture and demonstration series.
