In short

Ar.Co is an independent art school founded in 1973, a non-profit cultural association devoted to experimentation, training and the promotion of the arts, crafts and visual communication. Its departments include jewellery and ceramics, each with a three-year full course built on practical training, alongside drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, illustration, cinema and art theory. In Lisbon it has occupied the former Xabregas market since 2017, and ceramics is taught at its Almada site.
