The Asian Institute of Fashion Design (AIFD) was founded by Iqra University in Karachi in January 2000. It offers bachelor's degrees with honours in Fashion Design and in Textile Design, a BS in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising and a Master's in Design Marketing & Merchandising, as well as associate degrees, foundation and advanced diplomas. The institute runs workshops in crafts such as block printing, tie-dye, macramé and mirror work. It is located at Defence View, Shaheed-e-Millat Road (Ext.), Karachi.
