In short

The Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź has a Faculty of Fine Arts and a Faculty of Design Arts; it took the name of the painter Władysław Strzemiński, one of its co-founders, in 1987. Degree courses include clothing design, jewellery, textiles and interior styling, design and interior architecture, alongside painting, graphic arts, photography, animation and new media. The academy also runs the PATA international summer courses in printmaking and artistic textiles.
