The Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture of Atılım University in Ankara was founded in 2007 and has bachelor's programmes in industrial design, graphic design, interior architecture and environmental design, architecture, and textile and fashion design. The Textile and Fashion Design department teaches basic design, sustainable fashion, experimental design, project work and art history, with compulsory internships and a cooperative education model that lets students work in companies before graduating. The Industrial Design department, founded in 2009, prepares students through professional, technical and elective courses; the faculty has design studios and computer, light and colour, acoustics and virtual-reality laboratories.
