The Faculty of Architecture and Design of Bahçeşehir University (BAU) in Istanbul has four departments: Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Industrial Design, and Textile and Fashion Design. The Industrial Design programme is built around design studios, supported by courses on materials and production methods, visual communication, engineering and business, with prototyping and computer-aided design. Applicants to Textile and Fashion Design sit a special aptitude exam with life drawing and a portfolio interview. The faculty also offers a master's programme in Industrial Design and Innovation Management.
