In short

The Barbados Vocational Training Board provides vocational training through a skills training programme, an evening programme, apprenticeships and in-plant training. Its trades include garment making (taking measurements, drafting patterns, cutting, assembling and finishing garments), furniture making at beginner and advanced level, cupboard construction, joinery, cake and pastry making and international cuisine. Courses are held at several training centres; the headquarters are at Lawrence Green House, Culloden Road, St. Michael.
