In short
The Berufsbildungszentrum Biel-Bienne (BBZ/CFP) is a bilingual vocational training institution of the Canton of Bern for technical and trade professions. Its watchmaking trades are taught in French: watchmaker (horloger CFC), production watchmaker and watchmaking operator (AFP), both at the vocational school for apprentices and at the Lycée Technique, a full-time trade school that combines training workshop and vocational school. Watchmakers in the repair field learn to maintain, overhaul and repair the mechanisms of mechanical, electric and electronic watches, clocks and timers. The secretariat is on Wasenstrasse in Biel.
