Beijing City University is a private university founded in 1984. Its Faculty of Cultural Heritage, formerly the Department of Arts and Crafts set up in 2014, offers bachelor's degrees in arts and crafts, in cultural relic conservation and restoration and in museology, and master's degrees in relics and in design with an arts and crafts track. It has laboratories for relic conservation and restoration, lacquerware restoration, ceramic and metal restoration and digital relics, and invites national arts and crafts masters and intangible heritage bearers to teach. The faculty is in Yangzhen, Shunyi District, Beijing.
