Beijing Union University is a public university in Beijing. Its College of Arts, which since June 2019 also carries the name Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage College, has departments of digital media design, intangible cultural heritage, cultural heritage and sustainable design, and performance. Among its nine undergraduate programmes are clothing and costume design, product design and arts and crafts, alongside digital media art, environmental design, visual communication, painting, performance and intangible heritage protection. The college states that it works on traditional handcraft skills, founded a Beijing metal crafts industry-education alliance and is building a modern industry college for Beijing arts and crafts.
