Belfast Metropolitan College, a further and higher education college in Belfast, offers a three-year BSc (Hons) Fashion Production and Business validated by The Open University, taught at its Titanic Quarter campus. Modules include pattern construction, garment technology, apparel design, business and marketing, with students making and presenting a saleable product and studying sustainability across the life cycle of clothing. The college traces its origins to the Municipal Technical Institute, opened in 1906, and took its current name in 2007.
