In short

Bergen folkehøgskole is a folk high school in the Åsane district of Bergen, formerly Åsane folkehøgskole; the school states it was established in 1966 and is owned by IOGT. Among its one-year lines is Product Design, which teaches design methods from idea to finished product: sketching, model building and prototyping, materials and techniques, 3D drawing and 3D printing, with a ceramics workshop. The folk high school year has no exams or grades; students live at the school and can use the year to build a portfolio for further design studies.
