These include brass and woodwind instrument making, accordion making, piano building, organ building and string instrument making, alongside sculpture, wood turning, joinery, lacquering and painting and coating technology. It is housed in the building on Hütteldorfer Straße 7–17 in the 15th district, built in 1925/26 as Vienna's second central vocational school, which it shares with other vocational schools.
