In short
BTP CFA Vendée is the La Roche-sur-Yon site of BTP CFA Pays de la Loire, a network of apprenticeship centres for the building trades that also has sites in Saint-Brevin, Saint-Herblain, Angers and Le Mans. Alongside CAPs, Bac Pros and professional certificates in masonry, roofing, carpentry, joinery, metalwork, plumbing and electricity, it prepares the CAP ébéniste, which the network lists only at this site. This two-year apprenticeship, adjustable to the learner's profile, trains qualified craftspeople to make freestanding and fitted furniture while respecting aesthetic criteria and traditional or current techniques of manufacture, finishing and installation.
