In short
The Campus Caraïbéen des Arts is the public higher school of art of Martinique, created in December 2011 by the Martinique Region and placed under the educational supervision of the French Ministry of Culture; it succeeds a regional art school founded in 1984. It awards the DNA (three years) and the DNSEP (five years, master level), with options in art, object design and graphic design. The object design track teaches students to conceive objects and systems of objects, working with local materials and resources such as wood and tropical plants. The campus is at the Ermitage, rue des Artistes, in Fort-de-France.
