In short

Canberra Glassworks opened in 2007 as an initiative of the ACT Government in the heritage-listed Kingston Power House in Canberra. It is a contemporary art gallery and working glass studio with a hotshop, kilns, a cold-working studio and neon and flameworking facilities. It offers short courses from beginner level up, masterclasses, school holiday programmes and a residency programme, and hires its workshops to artists working in glass.
