CANVAS is a private school of art and fashion in Lausanne, founded in 1993. Its fashion programmes cover fashion illustration and collection design, pattern-making and garment construction, textile exploration and fashion photoshoots, from a one-year diploma in fashion styling, pattern-making and sewing to a two-year FEDE Foundation Degree and a European Bachelor in fashion styling and techniques. The school also teaches graphic design and visual communication and creative marketing, with a preparatory year. Teaching is bilingual and organised around courses, bootcamps and studio projects.
