Cavan Institute is a further education college of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board, established in 1985 as Cavan College of Further Studies, with its main campus on Cathedral Road in Cavan. Its Fashion Design and Styling course, at QQI Level 5, focuses on creative studio practice, teaching drawing, garment construction and design development alongside fashion media, creative hair styling and make-up. Students build a portfolio of garments, styled looks and visual content for progression to higher education or creative careers.
