The Cégep du Vieux Montréal, at 255 rue Ontario Est in Montreal, offers the technical programme Design de produits (industrial design, 570.C0), in which students imagine and draw new products, build them as models and develop them in 3D on computer, applying knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes and working on eco-responsible products. Projects are carried out with design firms and manufacturers, for products such as sporting goods, electronic devices, toys and furniture. With the Institut des métiers d'art, the cégep also runs the Techniques de métiers d'art programme in eight options taught in partner school-studios.
