The Campus des métiers d'art of the Cégep Limoilou, at 299, 3e Avenue in Quebec City, houses the college's Centre de formation et de consultation en métiers d'art (CFCMA), which coordinates the college diploma (DEC) in craft techniques for eastern Quebec, together with the École de joaillerie de Québec and the École nationale de lutherie. In the lutherie option, students learn to make, repair and adjust the sound of violins and violas or of acoustic and classical guitars; in the jewellery option, they work metals and related materials to create jewellery and objects and to repair existing pieces. Practical courses are taught with partner school-workshops, while general courses are given at the Limoilou campus; the campus also has a craft documentation centre and a Fab Lab.
