In short

CENCAL is a vocational training centre for the ceramics industry based in Caldas da Rainha, created in December 1981 under a protocol between the public employment and training service and industry associations. In its workshops it simulates a small ceramics factory, from modelling to firing and painting, and since 2011 its Marinha Grande site, which simulates a glassworks, has added glass training, including blown glass, fusing and kiln casting. It also has a branch in Alcobaça and organises workshops in creative ceramics.
