In short
CERCAL is a vocational training centre and international footwear school in San Mauro Pascoli, in the Romagna shoe district, which has been operating since 1984. It trains pattern makers, designers, last technicians and skilled workers for footwear and leather goods, with particular attention to high-quality women's shoes, through intensive courses such as Shoes Design, footwear and leather-goods pattern making, as well as specialisation courses in clothing and knitwear. The school states that it works with more than forty member companies of the district.
