In short
CHAVÓN School of Design was founded in partnership with Parsons School of Design and, according to the site, has trained artists and designers since 1983. Its Santo Domingo campus in the Miraflores district, inaugurated in 2016, hosts all the full-time technical programmes, including Fashion Design, as well as continuing education courses such as pattern making and sewing. Graduates of the two-year programmes can continue for two more years at Parsons in New York to earn a BFA.
