China Women's University in Beijing teaches fashion and accessory design in its College of Culture, Communication and Arts, which also offers bachelor's programmes in broadcasting and hosting, visual communication design, network and new media, and fashion performance. The fashion design programme was created in 1997, has admitted undergraduates nationwide since 2003 and in 2022 was named a national first-class undergraduate programme site. The university belongs to the All-China Women's Federation.
