The Cité scolaire Jules Uhry, at 10 rue Aristide Briand in Creil, in the Oise department north of Paris, is a public lycée with general, technological and vocational tracks and a range of BTS courses. Its clothing courses are the vocational Bac pro in sewing and garment making (Métiers de la couture et de la confection) and the post-baccalaureate BTS in fashion trades, clothing option (Métiers de la mode – vêtement). According to the school's history page, between 1927 and 1938 the building housed a practical school of commerce and industry that trained seamstresses and linen workers among other trades, and it took the name Jules Uhry in 1948. The school reports that a former BTS fashion student won a gold medal at the national skills competition (Olympiades des métiers).
