In short
CMA Formation Bayonne, formerly the Université des Métiers de Bayonne, is the public apprenticeship training centre of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Chamber of Trades and Crafts in Bayonne, at 25 boulevard d'Aritxague; the centre says it has fifty years of experience in work-study training. Its five departments, food, mechanics, bodywork and painting, beauty and well-being, and crafts, prepare diplomas from CAP to two years after the baccalaureate. In its crafts department it is the only centre of the regional network offering the CAP in fashion with the tailoring and dressmaking (flou) options, in which apprentices learn to read technical data, make all or part of a garment and check its quality.
