The College for Creative Studies is a private, nonprofit art and design college in Midtown Detroit, founded in 1906 as the Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts. It offers bachelor's and master's degrees in fields that include Transportation Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Color and Materials Design and Studio Art & Craft, alongside illustration, animation, film and communication design. The Transportation Design programme, which the college says has been running for more than 60 years, covers vehicle and mobility design, and the Fashion Design programme covers conceiving, making and merchandising apparel and accessories.
