In short
The College of Fashion and Design (CFD) in Colombo is a joint venture between Colombo Fashion Week and SLIIT International. Its main programme is a three-year course in fashion design that covers creative and technical skills, styling and pattern making, and launching and managing a fashion business, leading to a Higher Diploma; there are also a foundation programme after O-Levels and short courses, including a fashion fundamentals course with pattern making and garment construction. The college also teaches interior design and graphic design, and states that it works with partner institutions in Italy, the UK and the US. It is located at 80 Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 02.
