In short
The Cappamore Campus of the College of Further Education and Training of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, in Cappamore, County Limerick, is the board's centre of excellence for blacksmithing. In its forge, which the college describes as Ireland's only accredited blacksmithing training forge, it runs a nine-month full-time City & Guilds course in forge work that prepares for an apprenticeship in blacksmithing or farriery. It also offers one-day taster courses and progressive evening modules, from basic forging to tool making and decorative pieces, alongside other day and evening courses.
