The Brignais training centre is the regional seat for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes of Les Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France, an association that trains young people in trades through work-study (alternance), with training periods at the centre and work in a company. According to the association's course pages, Brignais hosts the CAP in general saddlery (sellerie générale), in a two-year version after secondary school and a one-year version after the baccalaureate, and the CTM in cabinet-making, a two-year post-baccalaureate course.
