The Cholet house of Les Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France, at 2 rue de l'Abbé Hallouin in Cholet (Pays de la Loire), is a Compagnons house, apprenticeship training centre (CFA) and branch of the French craft-training association. It is one of the places where the association teaches the Bac pro Métiers du cuir option maroquinerie, a two-year post-baccalaureate work-study course. The programme covers technical drawing, sewing and skiving machines, the classic leatherwork constructions of bags, wallets, belts and watch straps, CAD for soft materials, and prototyping a design together with a stylist.
