In short
The Toulouse house of Les Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France, at 28 rue des Pyrénées, combines a Compagnons' house, an apprenticeship training centre (CFA) and a branch office for the Occitanie region. The association trains young people in trades through work-study, alternating periods at the centre with work in a company. According to the association's course pages, the Toulouse house prepares the two-year CAP in cabinetmaking after secondary school, which covers designing and drawing solid furniture, veneering, machining, assembly and finishing, and is a step of the Tour de France towards becoming a Compagnon cabinetmaker.
