Curtin University in Perth teaches fashion design as a major within its Bachelor of Design, taught on campus at Curtin Perth. The major focuses on the relationship between garment and body and on studio practice: students design for diverse bodies, work with industrial machinery, specialist equipment and digital design tools, and take their ideas from concept to finished garment, with attention to what happens to clothing at the end of its life.
