In short
DIVTEC is the technical division of the Jura Centre for Education and Training (CEJEF), at the Cité des Microtechniques in Porrentruy. Its trade school (École des métiers techniques) offers full-time apprenticeships with three to four days a week of practical workshop training, including watchmaker, micromechanic and microtechnology quality technician, leading to the federal VET certificate, with an integrated vocational baccalaureate option. The watchmaker learns to assemble, check and adjust the parts of a watch movement. The division also includes a vocational school for dual-track apprentices, a vocational baccalaureate and a higher technical school.
