In short
The College of Fashion and Design of Donghua University in Shanghai grew out of a textile design programme opened by the university in 1982; it became a fashion college in 1993 and took its current name in 2015. Its undergraduate programmes include fashion design and engineering, clothing and accessories design (also in a Sino-Japanese programme run with Bunka Gakuen since 2003), textile art design, product design, environmental design and fashion performance, and it also offers master's and doctoral studies. Each year it organises the Around Donghua Fashion Week.
