The Kaynaşlı Vocational School of Düzce University is in Kaynaşlı, in Düzce province, north-western Turkey; according to its history page it was founded in 2008. Its two-year programme in traditional handicrafts teaches the history, patterns, materials and techniques of Turkish handicrafts through theory and workshop practice, following a 3+1 model in which the fourth semester is spent full-time in a business. The programme has a handicrafts workshop and a paper-marbling (ebru) workshop, and graduates receive the title of traditional handicrafts technician.
