The Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny d'Alcoi, on Carrer Barranc de Na Lloba in Alcoi, traces its history to the arts and crafts teaching started in the town in the 19th century; the present school was restarted as a school of arts and crafts in 1973 and became an official centre in 1982. It offers higher degrees in fashion design and product design and a higher vocational cycle in costume styling (Estilisme d'Indumentària), alongside graphic, interior, illustration, animation and photography studies, and has a digital fabrication workshop for prototypes.
