The Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Antonio Faílde is a public school of the Galician government in Ourense, in a contemporary building with practical workshops for prototyping, photography and editing. It offers higher design studies in graphic and interior design and professional cycles in photography, illustration and artistic cabinet-making. The two-year higher cycle in artistic cabinet-making, with work placements, trains cabinet-makers to build furniture and pieces of technical and artistic quality from their own project or a commission, and to assist conservator-restorers with wooden heritage objects.
