In short
The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño José Val del Omar is a public art and design school in Granada run by the Junta de Andalucía, known for much of the 20th century as the Escuela de Artes y Oficios. It offers four-year degrees in fashion, graphic and product design and vocational courses in crafts such as enamelling, art forging, gold- and silversmithing, Islamic ornamentation, wood and stone reproduction, textile art, gilding and polychromy, and ceramics. The school says it preserves old craft trades while developing new disciplines.
