The Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Mestre Mateo is a public school of art and design in Santiago de Compostela, which opened its doors on 19 February 1888 as the Escola de Artes e Oficios de Santiago. It offers higher degrees in fashion design and in product design, with a general track and a track in jewellery and accessories, higher vocational programmes in artistic jewellery, sculptural techniques and photography, and a modular workshop in gilding and silvering.
