In short
The drama school of the Théâtre National de Strasbourg trains young artists who live permanently in the theatre, in five sections: acting, directing, dramaturgy, stage management and creation, and scenography and costume. The scenography and costume section combines artistic creation with the practical learning of skills and technical tools such as models and plans, construction and stage machinery, set making, casting, props and costumes. The teams of the theatre's sewing and construction workshops take a close part in the training, and students alternate personal research, practical exercises and productions in professional conditions with students of the other sections.
